隨著我國載人航天技術(shù)的快速發(fā)展，中國已經(jīng)成為繼美國與俄羅斯之后探索太空的一個(gè)新興大國。這一速度不僅引起全球的關(guān)注，也在世界范圍掀起了同中國合作的熱潮。

歐洲宇航員已經(jīng)率先開始行動(dòng)，他們?cè)谌A訓(xùn)練，期間努力學(xué)習(xí)中文，而且還希望能坐上神舟飛船的副駕駛席。

為什么歐洲宇航員在學(xué)中文？：美國和俄羅斯已經(jīng)不是僅有的太空大國了，BBC采訪了一位宇航員，他正在一個(gè)新興的太空大國訓(xùn)練——中國

近日，BBC采訪了曾經(jīng)來中國訓(xùn)練的德國宇航員馬蒂斯·毛瑞爾（Matthias Maurer），一起聽他講講訓(xùn)練的故事。

一同訓(xùn)練的大家庭

It was not what Matthias Maurer was expecting when he signed up for sea survival training with Chinese astronauts.

當(dāng)馬蒂斯·毛瑞爾簽署同中國宇航員一同進(jìn)行生存訓(xùn)練的協(xié)議時(shí)，他沒有料到眼前的場(chǎng)景。

毛瑞爾用充滿詩意的語言講述著自己的訓(xùn)練經(jīng)歷：

“It was so nice and relaxed,” says the German European Space Agency (Esa) astronaut. “I was floating there in the life raft, looking up at the sky – I only needed some music and it would have given me a real Hawaii holiday feeling.”

“這一切都如此美好而輕松，”這位來自歐洲空間局的德國宇航員說。“我乘救生筏在海上漂浮，抬頭望著天空，要是再來點(diǎn)音樂的話，就像是真的在夏威夷度假一樣了。”

這座訓(xùn)練中心在煙臺(tái)附近，來自歐洲的宇航員和中國宇航員一起生活、工作。

The exercise took place last year at a newly built training centre near the coastal city of Yantai, around an hour’s flight south-east of Beijing. For two weeks, Maurer and fellow Esa astronaut, Samantha Cristoforetti, lived and worked alongside their Chinese counterparts.

毛瑞爾去年參加的訓(xùn)練在一座新建成的訓(xùn)練中心展開，它坐落在海濱城市煙臺(tái)附近，位于北京東南部，乘飛機(jī)需要約一個(gè)小時(shí)的航程。在兩周的時(shí)間中，毛瑞爾和同樣來自歐洲空間局的薩曼莎·克里斯托弗蕾蒂與中國宇航員一同生活、工作。

這已經(jīng)不是毛瑞爾第一次同中國結(jié)緣，早在2016年6月，他便與來自中國的宇航員葉光富分到了一個(gè)乘組，共同參加在意大利撒丁島開展的航天員洞穴訓(xùn)練。

在進(jìn)行航天員訓(xùn)練的同時(shí)，他也不忘學(xué)習(xí)中文，甚至能夠直接用漢語發(fā)表訓(xùn)練感言。

Along with Cristoforetti and French astronaut Thomas Pesquet, Maurer has also been learning Mandarin. “It’s good but it needs improvement,” he confesses. Although, he tells me, his name in Chinese translates as “Horse of Heaven”.

毛瑞爾、克里斯托弗蕾蒂及法國宇航員托馬斯·佩斯凱都在學(xué)習(xí)中文。“我學(xué)得還不錯(cuò)，但仍然需要提高”，毛瑞爾承認(rèn)。即便如此，他還是告訴BBC記者，自己名字翻譯成中文的意思是“天堂之馬”。

與其他航天機(jī)構(gòu)需要專門進(jìn)行團(tuán)建活動(dòng)不同，歐洲宇航員們?cè)谟?xùn)練期間與中國宇航員同吃同住，很快便成為了朋友，培養(yǎng)了相互之間的感情與合作精神。

這一點(diǎn)，給毛瑞爾留下了深刻的印象：

The Chinese astronauts even spend their vacations together, they know each other perfectly well so they’re like brothers and sisters,” says Maurer. “When we lived there we felt so warm-heartedly accepted into their family.”

“中國宇航員們甚至?xí)黄鹑ザ燃伲麄儽舜酥g非常了解，就像是兄弟姐妹一樣，”毛瑞爾說，“住在那里的時(shí)候，我們覺得受到了這個(gè)大家庭非常熱情的接待。”

突破創(chuàng)新的航天器

在早期，中國載人航天技術(shù)參考了前蘇聯(lián)聯(lián)盟號(hào)載人飛船的構(gòu)造。在這一基礎(chǔ)上，近年來中國航天器的硬件設(shè)施也取得了相當(dāng)大的突破與改進(jìn)。

I was surprised by the dimensions,” says Maurer. “It has a larger diameter than the Soyuz capsule and is much higher – they’ve had a good look at the Russian hardware, they’ve learned what are the good parts and looked at what they can improve.”

“飛船的尺寸讓我非常驚訝，”毛瑞爾表示，“相較于聯(lián)盟號(hào)的艙體，神舟航天器的直徑更長，高度也更高。中國對(duì)俄羅斯的硬件設(shè)備了解得很透徹，他們知道哪些方面可以學(xué)習(xí)借鑒，哪些部分有待改進(jìn)。”

毛瑞爾說，中國在技術(shù)上的創(chuàng)新、空間上的擴(kuò)展也為宇航員們帶來了更為人性化的出艙體驗(yàn)。

If the space capsule splashes-down at sea for instance, the design of the Shenzhou makes the whole experience of swapping space suits for survival suits before clambering out of a bobbing space capsule much easier.

舉例來說，如果太空船降落在海里，艙體會(huì)在水中上下顛簸。而神舟飛船的設(shè)計(jì)會(huì)讓宇航員脫下宇航服、換上救生服、隨后出艙的過程更為容易。

毛瑞爾說，中國訓(xùn)練中心的條件也更好。

“There is so much room, we even had inflatable rubber boats, which we don’t have in the Soyuz,” he says. “With the Russian sea survival training you jump into the water, there’s no boat – it gets very chilly and it’s much, much harder.”

“那里空間非常大，甚至還配有充氣橡皮艇，這是聯(lián)盟號(hào)上所不具備的，”毛瑞爾說，“俄羅斯的海上生存訓(xùn)練中，你必須跳進(jìn)水里，沒有皮艇。天氣很冷，所以要困難許多。”

更廣闊的合作前景

此前，中國與聯(lián)合國外太空事務(wù)辦公室（UNOOSA）簽署協(xié)議，承諾開放空間站，用于進(jìn)行國際研究。

“My impression is that any country in the world that wants to fly an astronaut can contact the Chinese through the UN and potentially get into space,” says Maurer. “It’s not only Europeans, but developing world countries that might not have an astronaut programme at the moment.”

“我認(rèn)為世界上任何一個(gè)想讓宇航員進(jìn)入太空的國家都可以通過聯(lián)合國與中國取得聯(lián)系，”毛瑞爾說，“不僅是歐洲人，目前還沒有宇航員培訓(xùn)項(xiàng)目的發(fā)展中國家也可以這么做。”

毛瑞爾還講了個(gè)有趣的小插曲：

“In the Soyuz the left seat is the co-pilot, and so we went to China and said we need to negotiate hard to make sure we get that left-hand seat,” Maurer explains. “And they said ‘oh, okay, no problem’…and we thought that was too easy…until we realised [in the Shenzhou] the right-hand seat is the co-pilot’s.”

“在聯(lián)盟號(hào)上，左邊的座位是副駕駛，所以我們來到中國，跟中國人商量，確保我們?cè)谧筮呑簧系囊幌兀泵馉柦忉屨f，“結(jié)果中國人答道，哦，好的，沒問題。我們覺得這太容易了吧......后來我們才發(fā)現(xiàn)，神舟號(hào)上右邊的座位才是副駕駛。”

談及未來的發(fā)展，毛瑞爾認(rèn)為，探索進(jìn)程越是深入，越需要更多國家的加入，合作探索。

“We are aiming to bring the Chinese into the family and a future lunar research station – the more we have in the family, the better we will become.”

“我們的目標(biāo)是把中國人帶進(jìn)探索宇宙的大家庭，共同在月球上建立科研站。我們的伙伴越多，探索進(jìn)程就會(huì)愈發(fā)順利。”

期待有朝一日，中外宇航員的身影能夠共同點(diǎn)亮浩瀚的宇宙。
