Improving the electoral system of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and implementing the principle of "patriots administering Hong Kong" is constitutional, legitimate, just and reasonable, State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi said.
完善香港特區(qū)選舉制度，落實(shí)“愛(ài)國(guó)者治港”，完全合憲合法，正當(dāng)合理。

On China-US relations

China is ready to work with the United States to return bilateral relations to the right track of healthy and steady growth, State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi said Sunday.
中方愿與美方一道，共同推動(dòng)中美關(guān)系實(shí)現(xiàn)健康穩(wěn)定發(fā)展。

It is not surprising that there is competition between China and the United States as their interests are intertwined, but the two sides should have healthy competition on the basis of fairness and equity, Wang said.
中美之間在利益交融中出現(xiàn)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)并不奇怪，關(guān)鍵是要在公平公正基礎(chǔ)上良性競(jìng)爭(zhēng)。

The one-China principle is a "red line" that must not be crossed in China-US relations, Wang Yi said, adding that the Chinese government will never compromise on the Taiwan question.
